Many materials have light in them; wood, marble, even cement – I am constantly trying to get the light exposed. I work a lot with wood because it has a life to it and I want to bring out its inner beauty. I love sculpture because it calls on you to touch it and there is something very primitive about touching an object. It gives me great pleasure to shape materials that people can enjoy.

I welcome you to my website and I hope you enjoy what you see. My intention is to display some of my past sculptures in the “showcase” and enlist interest in new ones. In the “In the works” area you can check out my current projects. Along with working on pieces for my own shows I am engaged in commissions for clients. I will try to maintain an up-to-date picture record of my projects and methods as they evolve.
